The Participants will be in a Group of 2-3 Members. Each Team will be given different ICs with the Name of IC Scrapped Off and related Data Sheets and Truth Tables as Required will be Provided. So The Ultimate Aim of Each Team is to Find Out Which IC is Given To Them More The Number of ICs they Identify More is Their Points.

It is an aptitude contest that features the very basic elements of electrical circuits. Irrespective of the various departments any student can participate in this event. The event consists of 5 levels, each with stipulated timings. Participants can take part in the competition as a team consisting of at least 2 members and can have a maximum of 5 members. Only one member from a team can take part in each level and the same member of the team cannot participate only in the consecutive level. All essential equipment for the event will be provided on the spot. LEVEL 1: To find the values of the resistors: Time limit: 3 min A considerable number of resistors will be provided. Rules: Only one member of a team can participate in this level. The values of resistor should be found only based on the color coding. LEVEL 2: To identify the charged and discharged Capacitors: Time limit: 2 min Certain number of capacitors will be provided along with other required equipment Rules: Only one member of a team can participate in this level. The person who in the previous level cannot participate in this level. The participant should find whether the capacitor is in charged or discharged condition. It can be found for as many capacitors within the time limit. Any method can be adopted to find the condition of the capacitors. LEVEL 3: To identify the p-side and n-side of diodes: Time limit: 2 min A certain number of diodes will be provided along with other required equipment. Rules: Only one member of a team can participate in this level. The person who in the previous level cannot participate in this level. The participant should identify the p-side and n-side of the as many diodes within the time limit. Any method can be adopted to identify the p & n-sides of diodes. LEVEL 4: To identify the type of transistors (NPN or PNP): Time limit: 3 min A certain number of transistors will be provided along with other required equipment. Rules: Only one member of a team can participate in this level. The person who in the previous level cannot participate in this level. The participant should identify the type of transistor within the time limit. It can be found for as many transistors within the time limit. Any method can be adopted to identify the type of transistors.
LEVEL 5: To identify the IC-chip (logical operational ICs): Time limit: 5 min A certain number of ICs will be provided along with other required equipment. All ICs provided will almost have the same pin diagram( input and output pins will lie in the same position). Rules: Only one member of a team can participate in this level. The person who in the previous level cannot participate in this level. The participant should identify the IC-chip with its IC-number within the time limit. It can be found for as many ICs within the time limit. Any method can be adopted to identify the ICs. Note: 1 point will be awarded for each correct result. Participants can find the result by forming circuit connections also but 5 points will be reduced from their total points gained for that particular level. If the participant uses only the digital IC trainer kit or any other methods without using the extra components there wont be any reduction in points.
Introduction: The challenge of the competition is to make a robot that can move on black lines on a white background and reach the finishing point as soon as possible. The participants must create an autonomous vehicle that will move on the competition field and do certain tasks. The ROBOT which will start on the starting point and reach the finishing point by following the black lines in the shortest time will be nominated the winner. Rules: Robot: It must me an autonomous robot Power sources of the robot should be on the robot. Dimension of the robot should be less than 30 x 30 x 30(L x W x H). The potential difference between two points in the robot should not exceed 12V. Track: The track will be black line on a white surface. The track will contain, curves, Right angles, Acute angles, loops etc. Width of the track will be of 3cm drawn in a flex material. Teams: A team can have maximum of four members. Game: The game consists of two rounds: Prelims and finals. Calibration time of 1 hour will be given before the start of the event. For each hand touch, it will consider as penalty of 5sec and the robot has to start from the previous check-post. Winner: Winner will be decided on the base of time and maximum check-post covered by the robot. The time measured and the points awarded by the organizers are the final. In case of any dispute the organizers will have the final decision

Welcome to the world of 3x3 basketball! 3x3 basketball is a relatively new modification to the sport that is growing in popularity every year. While already being the most popular sport in the world, 3x3 is bringing in more and more people who can play this modified form of basketball! Among the hustle and bustle around the campus! A escape for basketball lovers to come show their skill and display their talents in the open. Rules:- 1.Each team consists of three players and one substitute 2.The game is played on a half-court, with one basket. 3..A jump ball is not used to start the game. Instead, a coin toss is held immediately before the game. The winning team can choose to take possession of the ball at the start of the game. 4.Check the ball to a player from the opposing team to start 5.Every successful shot inside the arc is awarded one point, while every successful shot behind the arc is awarded two points. 6.The team opposite to the team shooting the basket resumes the next point of match. 7.The game is a single period of 10 minutes with sudden death at 15 points. The winner is the first team to score 15 or the team with the highest score at the end of the 10 minutes. A tie in regulation leads to an untimed overtime period, which is won by the first team to score two points in overtime. Note that if a game is tied at 15 at the end of regulation, reaching 16 does not end the game. 8.If the defense gains possession of the ball within the arc, by a steal, a block or a rebound, the team must move the ball behind the arc before being allowed to take a shot. 9.The substitution procedure is that it can occur only in a dead ball situation. 10.Each team is allowed one timeout.
